Build My Rank trial results

Yesterday, I completed my 10 posts allowed for the trial period in Build My Rank, which I began on October 28.

I'm hoping to get some feedback here on how I should view the results so far.

All of my posts became live in a matter of hours. However, my first post on Oct. 28 still hasn't been indexed. This first one was over 300 words long, and I thought I was being smart by writing a long post. My dashboard says it was placed on a PR4 site, but after all this time I don't know why it would still not be indexed.

As for the other nine posts, one is on a PR1 site, four are PR2 and four are PR3. All but one of these is indexed, well, actually one I did yesterday morning still says the indexing hasn't been checked.

I'm concerned about the long post I did on Oct. 28. I thought by making it more "meaty" that it would be indexed right away.

Also, should I be creating more links to the these Build My Ranks links? I've never worked with any kind of service like this, so not sure what to do next.

I wouldn't worry about it not being indexed yet. Sometimes it can take a week to get a post indexed, but they will keep at it until it is. That's a big part of the service - they keep working on it.

Yeah they backlink the posts for you, no need to do it yourself.

I had over 210 posts and only 3 have remained un-indexed after a month and a bit. They have a great index rate.

My only gripe with BMR as of late is the sheer amount of PR1 sites I have been getting placed on. I understand 1 pr1 is better than nothing but I expect a little more

Sounds like a typical BMR experience...

One thing you NEED to remember when linkbuilding is "link aging"....

Too many people have this misconception that as soon as a link is found by Google, and the other guys, that it immediately sends all of the PageRank that it will send.

That just isn't the case. If it was, you'd have multi-million dollar corporations or guys with deep pockets simply go out, spend hundred thousand on paid links one month, and rank at the top of the search engines.

Simply put.....That's not how it works....To be fair to BMR give your links some time to age...Then share your results

I wouldn't expect that much results from just 10 posts.

Hire your own writer and try it for a month or two then gauge the results.

No thanks, the writing is the easy part for me.

The whole issue of backlinks and traffic has been my problem for over a year.
That's why I'm finally trying out an automated system, even though I'm not clear on exactly what to expect from it.

Probably 10% of my posts are PR 1 the past month. But I also got a couple of PR 5's. Majority are PR 3's.

who the hell wants to pay 60 bucks a month for PR1 backlinks?

Anyone else have this problem with BMR?

i Thought the whole point of BMR was to build your PR, by HIGH PR backlinks

      My results so far...

      PR0: 12
      PR1: 280
      PR2: 361
      PR3: 207
      PR4: 69
      PR5: 15
      PR6: 2

      Average: PR2.1

There was a period where I was only getting a lot of PR1 or PR2 backlinks, but recently, I've been getting higher ones (mostly PR3+). We'll see how long that lasts though.

We have about 100 posts through BMR, all have been indexed and the distribution of PR is pretty similar to the graph d0rhk posted above. If you include the link within the first couple of sentences of your article you're more likely to have your link posted on the homepage of the blog as the homepage only shows the first couple of lines on each post.

BMR suffers from the same issue that many other blog networks do. Once your article drops off the first page of the blog it usually becomes just another link the pile. They were good a year ago, but now have so many people using the service that your link doesn't stick for long.

If getting links from blogs is your priority your money could be better spent on paying for guest blogging opportunities on high PR, do follow and most importantly niche related sites.
