How Does Squidoo Rank Lenses?

I cannot figure out how Squidoo ranks their lenses. I have been creating lenses and trying different things and looking at high ranking lenses and I am wondering how Squidoo ranks lenses and what makes them rank highly.

If anyone could help me out here and let me know what I have to do to make my Squidoo lenses rank highly, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Squidoo uses these main factors when determining Lensrank (in no particular order, and the weighting is unknown):
    • Freshness (frequently update your content)
    • Incoming Traffic (search engines, bookmarks, blogs, etc)
    • Clicks outs (includes ads, links, and products)
    • Social interaction (ratings, favorites and blessings)
    There may be other unknown factors in the algorithm (no one knows), but these are the main 4. Increase each of these factors, and your Lensrank will improve.
