hi i have a website, chesstrainingschool.com

I noticed by coincidence, that I rank#9 for chess courses, and #10 for chess training.

I am curious to know what else I rank for in google, is there a way I could figure this out?

THANKS!! <3

Don't get to exited yet, Google Webmaster Tools is very slow at updating their data (a week behind If your lucky).

Besides Google webmaster tools you can also use alexa [dot] to find for which keywords you're getting a good amount of organic traffic.Just go to that site and enter your site address and click get details.

You can get more good rankings through building backlinks behind those keywords.

That is basically what I do...I look at phrases Google has sent me traffic on in Google Analytics, add them to my Rank Tracker in Market Samurai and see where it shows me they are ranked.

That also allows me to put them into the keyword research module so I can analyze the phrases search volume to see if it is worth creating any unique content to bolster the phrases optimization on my site or not.

Yep, start by tracking your rankings via Google Analytics.

That will give you a good overview of keywords that are bringing you traffic. After that throw them into your rank tracker, like Market Samurai or other similar tools.

Begin to actively linkbuild those pages and closely monitor how your rankings adjust. After a few months, dive back into Analytics to see if any NEW keywords are bringing you traffic. As you build more and more links to your site different pages will begin to rank naturally as a result of the PageRank flowing through your site.

Add those new keywords to Market Samurai and reevaluate your SEO campaign on the old keywords that you were linkbuilding. Begin to focus on Page 1 or Page 2 competitive keywords and the new keywords you came across for linkbuilding.

you can use google analytics to see what people are searching to find your site. then just monitor and check where you rank for those keywords...
sometimes i get traffic from words im not ranked for at all though and when i check im not in the top 50 so not sure what that is all about!
