How long will my Adsense be 'on hold'?

Hey guys, just curious. How long will my adsense account be on hold? I'm unfamiliar with adsense and I would like to get started as soon a possible.

    I think you need to first receive a card in the mail with your pin to verify your address before your account will become active.

    Not sure what is going on with you but that is what happened to me when I opened my first adsense account.

    After completing the tax information if you are still having hold ... then

    Fill the contact form and send it along with the website address which you mentioned while applying for adsense account.

    Well after I received my 100,000th view on my site, it automatically lifted the hold. Not sure on the relevance but I have not received anything in the mail yet, but I haven't been home, at my mothers for Thanksgiving, and on that note I wish all who replied and all other Warriors a very happy Thanksgiving.
