Adsense advice...on the edge of being legal?

Hi Warriors,

I am after some advice and thought the adsense gurus here at WF would be the best people to ask.

I own a domain that would be perfect for a MFA site:
  • 8000 exact monthly searches (GKT)
  • low competition
  • category keyword domain
  • 917,000 results for the keyword in quotes
So the domain has a lot going for it and i think it has money making potential (i have had high $xxx offers to buy the domain but have refused them as i feel development and a passive income would in the long term make more money).

The problem is that the domain is for a category of recreational products that is on the edge of being legal (think head shop, herbal remedies, pipes etc).

What are Googles/adsense TOS on these types of products? I dont want to risk getting my adsense account banned displaying ads on a site that i shouldn't be.

When i do a search for similar sites there are no sponsored results the main competition seems to be large store sites selling products or sites warning of the dangers but none seem to display any adsense. Do google/adsence provide ads for these types of products, is there a way to find out?

I guess the domain could be used to advise people and warn of the dangers of these types of products (morally probably a better thing to do) but would it make money?

If you owned such a domain how would you monatise it?

Your thoughts and input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

As strict as Adsense is, and As sensitive as Google is to bad publicity, I think the chances of something like that being ok with the Adsense TOS is about

Thanks for the advice, I had kind of guessed that was the case.

Anyone have any advice on ad networks or affiliate schemes for this kind of niche?
