heard a few people talking about the effectiveness of buildmyrank in recent months.

Im not seeing too much movement over the last month for all of my sites and also other people i know who are using it havent seen any movement

we are not targeting highly competitive keywords in case you are wondering.

Maybe google is catching on

i can imagine the sites on BMR must start to be looking very poor quality with 100's of 150 word articles on them.

Anyone else having similar experiences?

Still effective for me. Make sure you diversify your links as well.

Cancelled my membership today. I'm sure it still works, but I was paying $79 monthly membership + $160 per month for 150 articles and I wasn't seeing the return I needed.

How do they compare to ArticleRanks? ArticleRanks is "free" - you just need to add some PR sites to be posted on.

It is working for newer keywords but the keywords that already had 25 or more posts weren't seeing too much boost with extra articles. These are just my results though. There are just too many factors that can influence ranking so you would probably want to diversify your links as much as you can and try to get those high quality links.

I just talked to support about why my posts are being rejected and they said they hired new quality control and set higher standards. That tells me even they know that bmr is becoming less effective and trying to change.

What sucks is my post are good. That's why I contacted them about it..

It could also be their way of slowing down the posts coming in. I have no idea what the user base is, but if the users are growing far faster than the network, that can cause posts to blow off of page one in no time.

Putting in extra quality control and being even stricter, can slow things down until they get more sites added.

Well if they can target pages with Panda for quality issues I would think its just a matter of time before they just add a change that diminishes the power those pages have to give link juice as well.

Definitly slows down post. If they keep it up I'll have to cancel. Haven't seen much results in last 2 months and was giving it one last try.

  • yes ive just had a huge bulk of posts rejected, my writer has 98% approval rate so im guessing this is the new quality standards put in place.

Another sign that BMR is having to adapt, which probably means its not as good as what it was.

I may need to try and find an alternative source for backlinks now, something handsfree and can enable me to outsource.....any ideas?

Ill give BMR one more go with 2 new sites that i have created and see if i get any results with it

Diversity is always good - don't rely on just 1 source.

    Seek out authority links.

I'd also give it more than just 1 month to see changes, especially recently with Google and that damn Panda.

How is higher standards making it less effective?

They've also started adding images and videos to the sites and posts. These changes will only help their entire network in the long run.

Yes im not relying just on BMR, however its what im putting most of my money into and is what, i believe, is giving me decent serps movement over the last few months

i need something powerful (like BMR WAS) now pre panda

Its all very good saying 'get authority links' but how exactly do you do this, its not easy and requires more investment than BMR in my opinion
