List Building + AdSense = More AdSense Money?

I'm planning to build one big site with adsense ads.

But I'm also considering to put an opt-in on that site and build a list.

There's a lot of ebooks out there about making money combining ClickBank and List building.

But when it comes to AdSense, does it work?

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with that?

    Yes it works.

Two of my larger Adsense sites, both have email list.

Personally I've not had huge success with list building and Adsense but I would still recommend it. It's extra traffic that you can fire back to your Adsense site on a regular basis.

I had only try list building with selling products but not for adsense yet. Not too sure if it is going to work, but I think it will be a good try. I still think traffic from organic source is more reliable.

    @Yukon:

    Hi, Yukon

I took a quick look at the thread about AdSense and FeedBurner.

But can you tell us what is the difference between other autoresponders (I mean primarily Aweber) and the FeedBurner:

Is it possible to customize the emails with FeedBurner in terms of feeds, ads placement, putting images, adding attachments etc.?

Is it possble to just write a special email and send it to your list without any feeders or ads?

And is it possible to put in a series of emails that will be sent to new subscribers automatically in planned days after they opt-in?

Aweber has an auto-responder Feedburner doesn't.

Really the whole point of a Feedburner list from an IMers position is the fact that Feedburner is the only option to allow Adsense inside an email, it's all about getting your Adsense inside the email.

If you don't care about Adsense in the email, then I would go with Aweber just because they have way more options to monetize the email list. Just depends on how you will monetize the list.

Yes, you can make some minor tweaks to the actual email, that's in my Feedburner/Adsense thread.

My advice If you go with Feedburner/Adsense, don't change anything inside the email & only run a single sentence text snippet. The goal is an Adsense click, keep it as simple as possible (no images). Obviously do your own testing, but simple emails work well for me.

Is it possble to just write a special email and send it to your list without any feeders or ads?
That would be somewhat complicated with Feedburner considering it's only pulling feed content from your blog pages. Again, Feedburner is more about getting the Adsense click inside the email.

If you have a lot of emails to send that won't involve Adsense clicks, I would use Aweber.

And is it possible to put in a series of emails that will be sent to new subscribers automatically in planned days after they opt-in?
Not with Feedburner, again it's simply pulling your feed from a blog page.

You'll need something like Aweber with the auto-responder to handle the scheduled email deliveries.

      ******************************

Really it all boils down to, do you want an Adsense click inside an email, If yes then pick Feedburner, If no then pick Aweber. Aweber will handle a larger variety of ways to monetize a list, however you can't use Adsense inside Aweber (only Feedburner).

      Hope that helps,
