Is this Google dancing or Google schizophrenia?

I've been building links to my homepage for about 4 days, approximately 10 contextual links per day, 3 different keywords. Today, its position on G has been replaced by an internal page...
But if I search it with a US proxy (it's a UK site), it turns out to be another internal page holding my homepage's position, and if I search with google.com instead of google.co.uk, it's yet a different internal page, and if I use a Japanese proxy, my homepage is still there...
Should I be mad or do something about it?

I've seen G choosing a more related page instead of the backlink targeted page before, and I think it's OK, but this time, it's ranking a random page, wtf...

Build more backing to the page you are trying to rank, that will fix the problem.

Thanks, I'll add 20 more links, and I'll let you know the result.
