How Do I Add AdSense Code to BlueSense Theme?

I see that it comes with AdSense code in the menu.php file, but I'm assuming that's DoshDosh's AdSense ID. How do I add mine?

When I tried changing the publisher ID to mine, the AdSense ads stopped showing. Then I just addedd all of my AdSense code and it still won't display.

What gives?

  • sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes for new ads to show up
  • If it is a theme I would assume adding adsense code to menu.php would disable it. Is there a sidebar.php or singlepage.php?
  • Thanks for the advice. The code is there and the ads still aren't showing up for some reason.

Yes, it is a theme. I did add it to sidebar.php and menu.php as well and the AdSense still isn't displaying.

    Thanks,

  • Its a while since I used this theme but I'm sure you just switch your Adsense ID in the Adsense PHP files.

I seem to remember the ads being blank for a while but its not uncommon its just while Google decides which ads to show with your new code on the site.

Just be patient its nothing to worry about

    • Thanks for the reply. When you say 'blank for a while' should/could it still be blank after a couple of days?
  • Yeah, I gave up on it. I was never able to get it to work, I'm sure it's not hard though.
