Hey,

I have just created a Wordpress website in the past 5 days and I was wondering what to do about getting ranked in Google with it.

Should I build up alot of content first then submit my site to a whole range of search engines, or should I submit now then keep building?

What do you guys think?

I currently only have 3 posts which are around 400-700 words long with a score of 40+ with SEO pressor and around 2% keyword density, Will this help me out aswell?

You don't need to submit your site to search engines, they will discover and index your site via links.

I have a plugin which creates me a sitemap, would this be enough?

And never submitted to Webmaster tools before! Always analytics though!

      Any other tips?

I know not everyone is a fan of Ezine Articles but I would personally recommend getting a few articles submitted to speed up the ranking process. Also start commenting on some relevant blogs.

Don't overdo the link building but just a few links will help Google notice your site a bit quicker.

Definitely focus on building up some quality content first. You can syndicate some of your articles as mentioned and comment on some blogs related to your niche that link out.

To find blogs that link out, search for "yourname@yourkeywords" + your keywords in Google and find some high PR blog posts. Then actually read the article and leave a relevant comment that actually adds to the discussion. Whatever you do, don't spam the blog.

A hand full of these per day coupled with high quality articles should get you started off on the right foot.

Be patient. Network. Don't expect miracles. Be in it for the long haul.

Thanks, these are some really good idea's!

Personally I think I have been putting up unique, high quality content. I now have just wrote my 4th high quality post which I am again pretty proud of, hopefully everything should pay off!

I am also looking at advertising subtly on forums which are relevant!

Keep posting unique content and the rewards will flow. The SERPs can never get enough of good quality content. There are some great SEO plug-ins that you can DL. One I recommend is the Yoast SEO plug-in. AWESOME!!

I am not sure if this is allowed(promoting your site), but I've just made a post on my blog about this. Please remove this if this somehow violated TOS. You can find the link to my blog in my signature.

google.com/addurl will ad your site to indexing, but its really not required, they'll discover you via links.

Ping it at pingler.com or some other pinging site when you have it done or when you update it but no more often than every 3 days.

Write a high quality brand new article and post it on Qondio.com and ideamarketers.com with the site in the bio, but it has to be a quality article and never before published to put on Qondio.com.

Really good content articles get syndicated quickly and usually get me more high quality backlinks faster than any paid service I've ever used. The backlinks also last a long time and don't just disappear in a few days.

you can ping your site on pingomatic if you want to to get read by search engines, also using google xml sitemaps plugin will do that for you. You havnt said what the goals of your site are. but i would say you want to add more content and start scheduling it to be updated regularly then also build links. If you dont have too much content yet dont just build links to your main page but also the content

I have Google XML Sitemap plugin and I am building content now.

The goal of my site is making money through affiliate links.
