Backlink doesn't show on SEOQuake?

I recently purchased profile backlinks, blog commentings, etc from WF for several websites.

They have sent me their report and each URL had backlink to my website.

Blog comments were do-follow.

But somehow, on SEOQuake, it says the website do not have backlinks.

Why is this?

  • Because they got they're backlink data from Yahoo Site Explorer which is no longer around.

Use Majestic SEO or some other source to find your backlinks while SEO Quake sort out a new source.

  • Yep - Yahoo Site Explorer was killed last week.

That means that most tools will show N/A or bad link information since it relied on YSE.

There's a few solutions but none are all that great, for example MajesticSEO (paid solution).
  • Yeah, not sure if they are going to source backlinks from somewhere else since Yahoo site explorer stopped?

You need to start checking manually using things links MajesticSEO, SEO Spyglass etc.

  • Majestic is a decent alternative. You can also try and find software that will manually check each page for your link. I know that Scrapebox has a pretty solid link checker built in.

  • I just made a guide on how to use Blekko to check backlinks.

It may be helpful to you and others in this thread that need
    alternative ways to check backlinks!

    • Use SEOBook Toolbar instead, they both show links from Majestic SEO and Blekko, both are great resources for checking links.

I don't understand why SEOQuake haven't integrated one or both of those sites to, they knew Yahoo Site Explorer was going down.
