Ezine, squido, hub, blogger...... the list goes on and one got hit hard by the latest google algo change. I am reading all over the place that having 10 links from the same url but on different pages is only counted as 1 link, is there any truth to that at all? My tests seem to show otherwise but has anyone done any real tests say on a large scale? Yes i have pressed search more then once already

  • You want to get backlinks from different domains. So having multiple links from different pages on 1 site would count as 1 domain.
  • I understand it counts as one domain but will more links from that domain but on different pages still pass juice.
  • Placing multiple links on the same page makes little sense. You lose your link will not only strength, google will find it illogical. Therefore place more than two links per page

Seriously backlinks from same URL but different inner pages count as 1 link?
    I highly doubt that.
I always thought that it meant having multiple backlinks on the same page would only count as 1 link...but if you have multiple backlinks on multiple pages from 1 website, I would assume that counts for each link.

How would that even work then?
Let's say you have backlinks from 3 inner pages from www, example, com

One of those pages is PR 10, one is a PR 5, and one is a PR 0.
How would that count as 1 link?

    • may be its true but we dont take only one backlink from a website bcz, may be another are more pr in future.
    • thats what i meant, i know one site that has like 10k plus pages and is a pr 8. If i say have links from
      1 pr 7
      3 pr 5
      4 pr 4
      2 pr 3
but all of them are the same url would i still get credit for all of them? i would do more but those are the only decent pr pages for my niche
