Those are good websites to learn SEO. But you have to search for more seo related articles so you can compare different strategies. Also, you can read a lot of forums here. You will learn from other people's experience and point of view.

I try to find a website that is performing well in terms of garnering targeted traffic from competitive keywords. So if I find a site with a PR of 5 or so and determine that the site is bringing in over 100,000 visitors per month based on any number of plugins that are available, that's a site I take apart using Majestic SEO. Ahrefs.com seems fine too. Using these services, you'll find out every single one of their backlinks and this will give you a good working plan for what may and should work for you.

Then I tell myself it will take at least 3-4 months to see results from working a consistent SEO plan on a daily basis. But once you see the results of working a solid SEO plan, you'll know this can be replicated time and again.

I bought Aaron's book when I first started. It was great and provided a real foundation for everything I've done since.

SEO Book.com ~ SEO Training Made Easy is definitely a great site for finding excellent SEO Methods...The information provided from that website have all been used to fit the standards and needs of everyone, meaning it is not as personal of information as some may want or need. I have created some great SEO Articles for these specifics...I have tried for YEARS to look for a very great way of building traffic, and building PR. To have information made by you for others based off of real experiences that you have gone through will always help. To build PR is to build a List. Listbuilding can be the hardest step but also the most valuable. I have succeeded based off of the amount of FAILS I have been through and would be happy to provide anyone with help.

Please Feel Free to contact me for more help and information

That is a great resource for learning SEO. But I suggest that you read more books other than that. The more books you read the more knowledge that you gain.

You can read about seo all you want, but until you learn how to research competition you'll be totally dependent on other peoples opinions (articles). Half of what you read on the net is total BS.

The half that's not BS, is the half that we keep to ourselves.

Websites that tout SEO news, tips, etc. all have their own
agenda. It's not 100% pure or even believable.

You are not going to learn SEO from a book. Problem is, book
is outdated as soon as it's published.

Every book has the same tired list of 10 things you must do, which,
IMHO, isn't SEO. That's just good website building and web-footprinting.
But then, that flies in the face of the crap that gets top billing in
        many searches.

It's amazing what you can pick up from a Google announcement and the ensuing whinging that occurs across multiple SEO forums and blogs. You need to use your noggin and pay attention to the common problems people are having and find out why Site A dropped while Site B stayed rock-steady.

SEO Book is the good website to learn SEO. You will get a lot of information there like SEO articles, videos and all, however they provide very limited support. Which may not be good for a fresher in SEO.

Sales must be down over at SEO Book.

They've resorted to posting fake threads.

Actually, this whole thread is a signature fest, myself included.
