Googe Update or what?

My micro niche site disappeared from google 1,5 months ago, my competitor site did the same about a month ago. Now we are both back in first page.
I haven't done much with a homepage, only added a bit content and hired some GIG's do to the backlinks. Was it just google dance or something else? I'm just curious.

  • Googles last update was targeted at thin sites which didn't offer much qaulity reader content. By adding more content o your site and having additional backlinking performed your going to help keep your site on the first page, maybe even push it up further if it's not ranking 1-3.
