Placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads.
Sites showing Google ads should be easy for users to navigate.

My first reaction when visiting your site was "Where's the content?". Second reaction, why is the only menu item "HOME". Third reaction, he doesn't care if I read content, this is just a holder for a multitude of CPA, Google (Now Adbrite), and Amazon ads. In other words, OVER MONETIZED. Which may have triggered the "Competitive Ads and Services" clause.

But, that is all just speculation...

As far as action steps..I'd try removing some of the other ads, improve my top menu, move my content up so it is visible above the fold, and then ask for a review.

If You are making most of the money from Adsense on that site why all the other ads?

If the adsense account is still active, Not sure how that works, I guess you can submit a url for reconsideration but if it were me, I would certainly run the site by a few board members before you do that. The comments on your site are a bit , well not good

Thanks for the replies, in response to a few things:

I've looked at least 50 other sites in my niche and similar niches that are on page 1, many set up the same way, so it can't be my ad placement (because their adsense is there), some of them, the entire top of the page was all ads and you couldn't even see content till you scrolled down. On my site the recent articles are right there.

My site has 15 articles, which believe it or not, is good enough for me, I wouldn't want to oversaturate my site with B.S. articles like many site owners do just to rank for more long tail keywords. My articles cover many of the questions asked by people looking in this niche.

The site is very easy to navigate, matter a fact, it has a very simple layout. All the information you need is right there, and there are many successful sites just like mine that use the same theme and a very similar layout.

As for there only being the home menu. There is no need for other menus. The site has a very direct focus, meant to provide the information you need right there.

The only thing that could possibly be a factor is the other services, but adsense has never stated that I couldn't have different ads on my site. I feel this is a very clean site, and this very vague response I received for a site that was making a tremendous amount of money as well as having a very low bounce rate is a damn joke.

My articles are high quality, original, and well written. I have a privacy policy, and I have all the information most people need when it comes to this niche.

My adsense account is still active, I'm just confused why they left me in the dark on this, and to wait for a manual review which will take over a month is a slap in the face.

I know my choices are a little limited now at least terms of high-deliver contextual advertising, but I'm trying to figure out what would be a good alternative for the medical niche.

Btw Barry, I appreciate your response, my biggest discrepancy with this all is this has to be a guessing game. I think it's a shame with all the money google makes, they can't have a more direct service where they have hired people that can work with publishers immediately to get things correct instead of making them wonder specifically what the problem is.

I went through something similar back in September, except I never recevied a message like this. Instead, out of nowhere one day, nearly half of my Adsense niche sites were gone. Noticed it when checking a particular website to see what pages were indexed and none showed up.

I immediately went over to file a recon request and waited for over 2 weeks with zero response. So, I went ahead and did it again. Besides, what did I have to lose? I wrote them a nice, lengthy letter and gave them VERY detailed and specific reasons as to why my sites were not in violation of their guidelines. I spelled everything out to show them why my sites served a purpose and deserved to be where they were.

After that, I played the waiting game. Periodically, I would check to see if a site was indexed or not from time to time. Nearly 2 weeks later, to my surprise, my sites were all back. I logged into Google Webmaster Tools and had a "Manual Spam Action Revoked" message. In other words, the sites were deemed to meet the quality guidelines and were pushed back into the index. I finally won the battle.

Everyone asked me what "tricks" I used to get my sites back, and I always tell them the same thing - nothing. I believed in what I had and pled my case. I probably spent AT LEAST a good hour writing up my response, making sure I covered all grounds and provided as much evidence as possible.

After looking at your site, I would place the "Contact Us" and "Privacy Policy" links right up the nav menu next to your "Home" button. I would also clean up the layout a bit, because it does look like too much above the fold. Try switching to a 2-column theme instead.

At this point, you don't have much to lose, so why not make a couple of changes and submit for a recon request? Unless you can easily switch your monetization methods and can make more from it, I would give the recon request a shot. Worst case is that they say no. Just keep on trying.

It does suck that Google isn't very helpful in letting you know what exactly is wrong with your site and points out exactly what you need to fix, but I imagine that would take thousands of man hours to do and they most likely don't have time to point out errors in every website out there.

I've been there man, so I know how you feel. Give the recon request a go after you mess around with a few things and let us know how things turn out for you. Most people never bother putting up the fight because they think they will lose. If you believe in what you have, stand up for it. That's all you can do man.

Yeh I posted another thread about getting banned, my adsense account of almost 3 years. Invalid clicks they say, yet they finalized my $1880 Nov earnings, and now that is gone.

Thank you for the advice bhuff, I remember months ago when I saw your thread about what happened to you. Sadly, I don't think there is much more I can do here when it comes to adsense as I had submited a professional request for more information when the ad serving was disabled.

Now my biggest issue is figuring out how to build websites from here. Everything seems to be a double-edged sword. I can rank websites very easily, I have mastered keyword research, and building websites. The problem is, if I wanted to be purely white hat and stay in googles good graces as I did with one of my websites, it is virtually impossible to rank in a reasonable time and make money (correct me if im wrong).

So now the question is, should I detach my google analytics to my sites (will that even matter when it comes to google deindexing), cuz I have this feeling as with anything in life, sh**t happens in waves.

And I was just about to start an amazon affiliate website campaign on several keywords. I had already bought a theme, but now I'm thinking I'll waste all my time only to get deindexed despite the content being original and informative.

I have been hit with a lot of hurdles this past week, I was actually getting excited and thought I had discovered the road to El Derado, I was making good money (or money I thought that I was going to receive), I had just added lead generation which was doing well, it's slowed down recently, and I was building up more websites to increase the income.

I have realized, I enjoy building websites, I enjoy being creative and coming up with answers to peoples questions.

I think ultimately I am going to have to diversify more, build some large authority sites, and continue to try stuff with the smaller sites, but if you get a chance I would like to talk to you further, even if its just a listening ear.
