Dominate Google #2 and #3 but still no sell?

I have an Amazon review website which is at #2 for main keyword and #3 for secondary keyword. I have around 60 unique visitors everyday (1800 per month) but it still doesn't make any sell.

And no, my website doesn't target children.

Any suggestion to improve my selling rate?

  • Well..i got a review website like yours as well sitting at #2..around 1500 exact search. The thing is I guess it depends on the product you're selling..some things people prefer to have a 'look & feel' before they buy it especially if it's an expensive product..and most of them who still bought from amazon has already done that research first...that's just my opinion...experts please chip in
  • add191, we need more info to know what the problem is.

Are you seeing clicks for your tracking IDs?
Do your viewers get exactly they're expecting based on the keyword?
Is anyone already buying this on Amazon? How are the reviews?
Are there tons of alternative retailers? lower prices elsewhere?
Is it a higher ticket item that already converts less than average?
Or an item that's not an 'easy sell', and you're leaving them hanging in terms of educating/reviews?
  • Is your keyword a "buyer keyword"? If it's a keyword that you believe people type in because they want to buy your product then the problem has to be with the way you have written your page. If your keyword is an information based one, there's a chance your problem lies with your choice of target keywords.
  • They are buy keywords like "best ****" and "**** reviews"

I had earned some money from this website before but it was before i reached top 3

The Google analytic showed that most people went to my website used these keywords in the serp

as i can see, Amazon has the best deal than any of the retailers out there.

The products are quite expensive as they are range from $200-400
  • To convinve your visitor to buy your products you have to touch their emotional nerve...

No one would ever like to buy a product from a bot. Try to analyze the behaviour of your targeted audience (if you are targeting women, try to catch the common behavioural characteristics and target those)

Create editorial about your products to motivate them and help them in buying the right product.
