Should I create a Facebook fanpage for each of my micro niche sites?

I understand that social signals are of increasing importance in SEO nowadays, so in an effort to boost the rankings of my micro niche sites, I'm wondering if I should create a Facebook fanpage for each, and put the "Like" button on the homepages of each micro niche site. Anyone try this or think it may be effective? Any other ideas for making micro niche sites more social-friendly?
