Hey Warriors,

If you could focus your entire day/week/month to working on your sites (SEO, IM, Content Creation) What would you focus on? What's a rough schedule of your day?

I have a lot of free time on my hands (not by choice) and would like to focus all my efforts on my sites. I get the feeling that if I am not writing articles/content all day long I am not doing it right! Trying to find a good schedule to adhere to.

Thanks!
#day #seo or im #work

Get close and personal with the 10 best companies in 2 niches and use those connections to get the best information possible. Then use the information to make my sites even more powerful, authority and highly monetized.

    Nothing beats inside knowledge.

Writing articles all day long IMHO is not even close to a good use of your time.

The end goal is you want to make more money right?

Well, all your money in IM is made in the research.
That is to say niche research and KW research etc..

When you do your research and you find a KW that will rank on page 1 without any links except you give it one blast from say social monkee or similar then with just one article (posted to the RIGHT places) you're at #1 and it takes maybe 2 articles a year to stay there then you have used your time well.

How much time do you spend at each task? However much time it takes!

Spend a great deal of time in KW research and it will pay you for decades.

I guess you have to do everything (seo, content writing, networking, etc.)

But you have to cut your time into chunks so you will never leave a part of the business.

Now as you have time(no matter how you have it consider it as a gift ) I would advice to start with content. After all content is a king and without it all the other efforts will be meaningless.

Hope that helps, and good luck

When you get close and personal with the best companies in one market you do all that in ONE act. I know this is not a common approach, but hey, it works damn well.

Even in the most saturated niches you can turn yourself into a winner quite fast, you just need to get personal with the right companies.

      Done.

Forget searching for content, re-writing that content, creating backlinks, etc etc.

Thanks for the advice guys. I guess the term "high quality content" is used so much around here I feel the need to create a thousand page site that will have all the information people need, on the flip side I also see many sites ranking well and making money with minimal content.

I guess for now I will spend 70% of my day on seo, link building etc and the remainder on additional content.

      See how that goes.

    I would die.

I already have all my time devoted to my SEO work and personal sites, do I use it? no.

I use my time for marketing, getting new business, and managing my outsourced workers.

I achieve over 10 times my physical ability each day due to careful outsourcing and thorough instruction documents.

Does this cost a lot? Yes.

Is it worth while? You don't even need to ask

My advise would be not to spend your entire time 'working', spend it implementing strategies and procedures which can automate your work and free up your time next week.

If you work in a 9-5 then sure, you need to 'work' because what else can you do.

In the IM world you can outsource and 'manage' your business from a birds eye view.

I'd start on an idea I have now instead of ~3 months from now when I'm done with exams.

For me i would begin with developing my content, then use such content as my avenue for link building, then transform my content into other media (i.e. slideshow) for more link building purposes.

Thanks for the reply, I have heard of multiple people having great success using outsourcing. Since I currently only have 3 websites I was hoping to try and do it all myself before any outsourcing.

Money is tight for me right now so any outsourcing would have to be minimal.

If you happen to read this, any tips on outsourcing? Do you use something like elance, trying different people until you find what works?

Thanks for the reply, this is what my focus has been pretty much. I try and update my content daily or at least weekly while building backlinks. Seems to be the most suggested approach.

2PM-5PM - Spread the Wealth...or is that called building links
5PM-10PM- Off Duty (Or more accurately "Daddy" duty.)
    10PM..... - Whatever I feel like doing...

That would be my ideal schedule, but for some reason life keeps happening.
