Adsense and Profanity

I've read the TOS and I'm curious to see if Adsense has a problem with mild profanity on blog comments. I know that many blogs use mild profanity and they still display Adsense ads. I have one political blog that gets some strongly worded comments; I'm thinking that I should monetize it with Amazon rather than Adsense. However, I've seen similar blogs that use very strong language and they have high PR and Adsense ads on them.

LOL, I know, a silly question, but I'm curious about it.

    No offense,

IMO I wouldn't allow anyone to trash my site/pages like that, I think it's just tacky, no matter If I was running Adsense or not.

I'm not offended. It's just that I get a lot of comments that have some mild profanity in them. Because it's a political blog, I also get a lot of hate emails that I'd like to display.

Yes, many large blogs and forums get away with a lot.
But that does not mean the little people (me) can get
away with that. It does break the TOS of "family
friendly." Google flat out tells you that if your 5
year old daughter or your neighbor's 5 year old daughter
would make you feel uncomfortable if they could read
        it, then don't do it.

But you are really breaking TOS by allowing adsense on
a blog that gets spammed comments. Google has stated
that they do not want adsense on blogs with spammed
comments. Here's a tip: All comments are spam. I can't
figure out what is spam and what is not. Spam does
not need a link to be spam. Why does google not
like comments? Because you are putting adwords user's
ads next to "content" that is not really what they are
paying for. They are putting their ads on your sites,
and expecting to get a certain visitor and content. When
a visitor is allowed to add whatever they wish, profanity
also, what does that do to the advertiser? They can look
quite bad by appearing to sponsor a page that allows
        crap.

That's why I, even though I am in the minority here, do
not allow comments. And certainly NOT allow comments
        on an adsense page.

Why people here think comments add to a page is way
beyond me. The day I let knuckleheads on the internet
        add content to my page....

But then, the folks who come here bragging about spamming
blogs, well, just shows the mentality.
