    Jamezun,

On the contextual front look at YPN ( Yahoo ) and a possible complimentary one to consider is Kontera. Payouts with Kontera are usually a lot lower than YPN/Adsense so bear that in mind it's not intended as a replacement for either of those.

I'm not sure, but I think he's looking for different income sources, not looking to pay for adwords.

You can apply for YPN owned by Yahoo, Bidvertiseer, Miva, Kontera and Adbrite. This are not comparable to G's adsense but it can give some alternative if its alternative to adsense is wha tyou are looking for.

I tried most of the programs out there and honestly the only good alternatives (to adsense) are Yahoo Publisher Network (assuming you can get in) and Chitika.

Chitika is the second best contextual CPC network if you're not American. I get about 30 - 50% of what I would earn with adsense on chitika.

I haven't had any luck with kontera, also read some not too good review about it before, I'm using infolinks for text links ads for my blogs in addition to adsense.

If you have a good amount of visitors from the US, better use chitika.
