The Perfect Plan of Attack!!!

Hello everyone. I recently got a promotion at work where a big chunk of my duties is going to be ranking 2 websites for some pretty hard keywords. I'm not bashful on giving out information so here we go!

Site #1: www.buckcommander.com
keywords: Deer hunting, elk hunting, deer hunting videos, deer hunting tips, whitetail deer hunting

Site #2: www.duckcommander.com
Keywords: duck hunting, hunting videos, duck hunting chat, duck hunter, duck calls

The Perfect Plan of Attack!

So if someone said, "Hey guy! I want to pay you to do SEO for about 4-5 hours a day." and you took the job. What would be your daily routine? Your strategy? Your perfect plan of attack?!

Right now I'm thinking PR Releases, 1-2 Articles, Forum Links, maybe some blog posts. I don't have a set game plan but I would love to get this down to a science before I start this job on Jan 16th.

For you guys who DO do this every day for a living, what's your daily routine? Thanks a bunch guys. I'm sure this post will help a lot more people than just me.

Honestly, some of those keywords shouldn't be too hard to rank for in the long run. Here is what I would do:

Buy Scrapebox and use it to find some High PR Low outbound links blogs about your keywords and post good constructive comments. A few might stick. Doesn't take many. Spend an hour doing this. Don't spam.

Buy BMR and spend about an hour a day making post to rank 5-6 keywords for each of your two sites.

Spend your next hour doing whatever ya wanna do. BS with your work buddies, work on your own websites, look important.

Spend the next hour and a half being an authority on a couple forums like this pertaining to deer hunting, elk hunting, etc. Find three or four of them and participate. Be a genius and talk the talk. You'll have followers and minions soon after.

Mingle with the boss the last half hour subliminally setting the thought of how invaluable you are and that you need both a raise and this task assigned to you FULL time.

Do all that and your site should be first page and better in Google after not so long and you'll be promoted to full time where you'll have three more hours to milk the clock.

lol! I love the work ethic! But yeah, you did lay out a good model for me to mold a little bit.

I've never used BMR, I'll have to look into that.

I also have the idea of contacting high PR hunting sites and seeing if I can get them to link to us in exchange for something. The problem is I can't think of much I could give them in return. If I could build some authority in some hunting forums, maybe I could work out a deal where I could promote another site in one of my posts in a round-about way.

Something like, "Hey guys, I wanted to make a post here about the importance of using Deer Corn." Then I could make a semi long post about tips and tactics using deer corn and then say, "Personally, some of the Buck Commander guys choose to use Warrior Forum Deer Corn. You can find them at www.WFDeerCorn.com"

Any other ideas revolving around this idea of getting relevant high-pr backlinks withing reciprocating the process? Maybe sending the company some cheap signed posters.

Here is my strategy for each site:
Write 50 unique articles with keyword density 2-3% and publish on various article directories and web 2.0 sites like webs.com,blogger.com and etc and do a massive article marketing. (Spread the links for all keyword)
To be more specific : 50 submissions per day for 10 days using 50 articles. Each articles will be used only 10 times.

Get xxx number of social bookmarks to home page

Get xx number of social bookmarks for inner pages of the site

Get some blog comments & forums postings

These should give a push, I strongly emphasize article marketing which Google loves a lot.

I would probably use scrapebox to get high PR blogs and post to them.

day 1. find the high pr blogs (maybe buy some lists)

day 2. post to the blogs ( get about 50,000-100,000 baclinks)

day 3. submit them to linklicious.me (set to 500 -1,000 crawl a day)

day 4+. repeat day 2 and 3. maybe day 1 if you need to.

First week on your SEO job, you put your company websites domain name in the most notorious internet marketing forum on this planet, along with all targeted keywords, and saying you're going to manipulate search engine results for your websites sake?
Good job ! Love to see how will your websites' rank progressing. Subscribed!

you may want to work from a personal laptop at work so you know your companies IT dept did not install keystroke logging software on your computer. or they will reverse engineer everything you have done.

The first thing you have to do is to see how your competitors are ranking for those keywords. See the amount and type of backlinks they're using to get those rankings. Most likely, they're buying/renting high PR links, which is what mostly all companies targeting mid-to-high competition keywords are using. And if your company gave you a budget to work with, it shouldn't be too hard to rank for at all. That's the way to do it without spending barely any time on it. That way you can focus your time/energy on other aspects of the business.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm definitely pointed in the right direction.

I'm went ahead and made a few forum accounts and started posting a bit. I'd like to have a few posts under my belt before I start throwing in sig links.

I also contacted some high-PR forums about some link propositions. I'm really excited. Thanks guys. (And yes, even though I "start" Jan 16th, I have the authority to go ahead and make moves

i posted this in another thread recently, this is my exact plan of wizardry i do at the minute to all my sites, i add in extra stuff when needed, but this more or less rips SERPs to pieces if followed right.....

my strategy is always the same these days...

    Onsite:
Good unique content, well written and informative
Top quality onsite SEO - not noticeable to a major degree were its choking the page, but enough for the SE's

    Offsite:
DIVERSE links and LOTS of them but on a CONSISTENT basis.... This never fails me folks, send a load of steady links from several different sources and you will be golden in googles eyes, if its diverse and its consistent it works! some of the stuff included in my assault on google are as follows:

AMR blast over 100 live links
    full link pyramid
submitted articles to 6 private blog networks
manual link wheel of 25 high pr properties
    over 200 wiki media links
    and a TON of bookmarks!

and a small and i mean small! amount of blog comments - i just leave nohandseo running in background, its good because its a steady consistent stream of comments plus its not crazy fast as its on my own machine, I repeat this process for weeks until i get the rankings i want....

this is my master plan for SEO and it works like a charm folks!

Yeah exactly. I would just google "powered by wikimedia" and you can see a list of examples.

lol for me my plan of attack

Gather some researched blog on a related topics that has a write for us
then contact them if I could pitch in a good article to be submitted for a
    guest post

if my writers were done writing up there article I would submit them to
one of my created blogs share them up in a number of blog platforms

After that do some social bookmarkings, forums, blog comments, and tweets
all for that for within I think 5 hours of tedious work . LOL ... after the remaining hours I'll gonna play some games and relaxed ...

    3 Options:
    1. Learn to use all seo tools or manually blog comment, make profiles, post articles to ezine etc.
    2. Simply outsource the task, and manage the whole thing as in, produce rank reports etc....

Depends how much time you have, how much you are willing to read and learn?
Plus if its a clients site, then DO NOT TAKE RISKS! IF seo is done the wrong way you can harm the site, so best to test on practice sites if you are new at it, to perfect your seo skills!

    Hope that helps!

Honestly, I'm not the best at SEO, but every website I've made is ranked on 1st page of Google. I make a few youtube videos, post on blogger, make fan pages, twitter account, post on Squidoo, and I always boost my videos with enhanceviews.
