I think yes. Maybe Facebook is more used for entertaiment purpouses, but in twitter you can find a lot of financial analyst, stock market advices, etc.

If I were you, I'll start to use twitter and try to share interesting financial info, write some articles and communicate with twitters who talk about finances.

Both of them are amazing for any business.

Think about social media like this.... it's just your everyday social interactions online.

Obviously using it to your advantage might take some trial and error, but as long as you stick to your guns. Provide value and build trust...

It can be on of the most powerful tools online.

I think yes. Since I have started tweeting it has gotten me more traffic and orders as well. Check out a program called Tweet Adder. It is great!

Thanks for info. Does tweet adder violate any of twitter's guidelines and rules? I checked it out only to find out that it looks effective.

    No experience with Twitter.

Facebook offers some interesting possibilities but you're going to have to make a decent money and time investment in order to figure out if it's going to be a good investment or not.

I am quite doubtful for using social networking websites for B2B business...

For that matter, twitter is much better. You can create your brand pages on twitter (twitter has not introduced branded pages) and attract leads for your business.

Twitter and Facebook both are just amazing in this criteria. Though twitter will give you better opportunity for marketing your business but facebook will leads you through your targeted audience more freely and more friendly.

If you want to be a success with B2B on Facebook you need to be connected to a lot of business owners and decision makers. It's not easy to build that list but it is possible.
