Questions on backlinking new niche site

So I'm in the process of building a niche website. I did my research on the keywords, and I know which ones I want to work on.

My question is if I'm trying to aim for say 400 backlinks (as an example) for a keyword(s) and was to order on Fiverr, (1) how do I verify links were done and (2) how do I make sure they get indexed? I know google takes a few weeks, but I noticed comments on some Fiverr gigs that some people can verify almost immediately after delivery.

Also..

should I only be concentrating on backlinks to get my website/keyword to the first page on google? Still learning and trying to make sure I'm doing everything right before I proceed.

    Hi, Lisa...

    First, your questions:

    1) You can't.
    2) You can't.

Unless you have some way of monitoring keystrokes or something, it's quite possible to fudge a list of backlinks without actually submitting the links. About the best you can do is go by feedback, although I believe that's also available on Fiverr.

Even if your chosen service does submit links as agreed, there is no guarantee if and when Google might index them, nor whether they will affect your rankings.

I'm a believer in leverage, so I want my efforts to do double duty. One of my main tools is content syndication. When someone uses one of my articles, blog posts, or whatever, I get the link. But, more importantly, I also get a chance to put my content in front of that site's or emailer's human audience.

And getting a chance to make your case to a human with a credit card is what it's all about when you sell something online.

If you are outsourcing any link building tasks, you should be provided with a spreadsheet that lists the URL of each backlink that's been built.

In regards to getting these backlinkgs indexed, you can either manually ping them (using sites like PingGoat.com for example), or use one of many different software programs (Backlink Energizer, Backlink Booster etc.).

Although external backlinking still plays a major role in rankings, you shouldn't focus solely on this. Make sure you add quality content to your site on a regular basis, and take advantage of any internal linking that you can.

Also, since social signals are beginning to play more of a role than ever before, setting up a Facebook like / Google +1 button is a smart move.

    Regards,

    Adam

      Hi MoneySavingLisa,
The only successful technique of backlinking which i always recommend is to find backlinks manually and post 2 to 3 (number of backlinks you should create daily only depends on the search volume of niche , if its huge create 4 to 5 backlinks , not more than that) comments a day. Find Good Quality Articles on popular blogging systems having good PR and share a valuable comment.
      Cheers.

TIP: Unless you're doing backlinking for vanity, the number of links usually matter alot lesser as compared to its effectiveness.

4000 doesn't necessarily mean it's alot better than 400 etc. When you purchase links, you should focus on what it does to your sites' rankings, and to do that, you need to have an accurate rank checker to track your rankings before and after.

Backlink checkers are unnecessary and over-rated in my opinion.

        1) Have your own system for ranking sites (purchase X from seller A, two Y from seller B etc OR DIY)

        2) Have a good rank checker to track rankings over 30-day periods to track effectiveness of 1)

        3) Tweak and change accordingly until satisfied

        4) Build more sites and scale

        the way to go.

When you will order a backlink service in fiverr, at the completion of the order you are likely to get a report file where every backlink's live URL will be written. Without getting a report, how you will be sure that your work has actually been done?

If the sites where your backlinks has been placed are already google indexed, sooner or later you backlinks will be indexed there too. A lot of backlinking gigs in fiverr are nothing but crap. They uses spammy website which are already spammed to death. Those kind of backlinks are not good for search engine ranking.
