When I type in nuratrim into Google UK the first site using Adwords is nuratrimreviewer.com which is an affiliate site/bridge page.

So what's going on? I thought Google disallowed bridge pages???

That's not a bridge page. They are doing it exactly the way it should be done.

? Lucid since when did google do away with requiring the about us, contact us, privacy / terms pages ?

I see that site being slammed by google and shut down 100% but then again I may be asleep at the wheel and google may have realxed the good user experience rules ?

The question was about bridge pages. At the time I looked at the site, my opinion was that it was not a bridge page.

As for the other pages you mention, you need a privacy page only when asking for personal information. You need to stipulate exactly what you'll get in return for your email and what you will do with the information. Would be a good idea to have such a page, even to just say "the only info we collect is when you place an order". A contact us page is just good business but as far as requiring it, I don't believe so.

No problems, my mis understanding, to me i would say it is a bridge page and would run googles wrath, the sites only real purpose is to push people to the product , but I may be wrong. One thing both agree on as it is it does not float.

I don't know Lucid. We usually agree on these things but that page looks an awful lot like a bridge page. No retailer options, no legit user reviews, no interactivity, and no way to buy the product directly on the site.

I'm surprised that page got through.

      EDIT: Nevermind

Upon further review, the page is not classified as a bridge page for a very specific reason, in my opinion.

HINT: Look at the outbound links on the page....

I just opened an adwords account yesterday, promoted things on 2 different sites (one of which is a kindle book I wrote), and managed to get my adwords account suspended already due to bridge pages. I ran only two ads: one for a product review and one for a page with info about my book. Sheesh.

ps re: shimmer's post: when I type that term into google US, the site you mention isn't showing up anywhere on the first 3 pages of results, but many other review sties are.

Hi Wolf. As said to Pete (tryinhere), the last time I checked the page was when the original post was made. The page could have changed in the meantime and I certainly don't remember what it looked like two months ago.

Looking at it today, I almost said it is a bridge page but in my ever so humble opinion, it is not. The order button goes to the affiliate's order page, at least something that passes as an order page. That is why I said two months ago it's not a bridge page.

I don't think it has anything to do with the outbound links which I assume you mean the "visit official site" one near the bottom.
