hi all.

I started a new site a few months ago, and it started to roll money in nicely in since the start of december. It seemed to peter out around Christmas, and since then the cpc has gone down considerably for my keywords...I was getting a few dollars a day before for the site, now its less than 1 dollar. I figured it had to do with the holiday, but Im unsure.

Is this something I should be concerned about? The cpc has been consistently lower these past few days.

Same here, the holidays are slowing everything down for me as well.

Could I have been penalized? The sites pretty much stayed the same for most of the month. I wanted to focus on other sites and observe how it does.

Traffic is still relatively high and the site has stabilized at slot 8 on page 1 for its keyword, so I dont think it has to do with traffic.

Holidays really reduces the visitor's on the internet. It is a common process and will be normal within a days.Don't panic just go on with your stuff. The up and down goes on but don't pause your work.

I have worked in PPC for large clients and I can tell you unless the advertiser is in retail, a lot pause their advertising over Christmas/new year as traffic really doesn't convert well for them at this time of year, this is due to visitors mostly being in more of a browsing mode often browsing for the new year.

    Hope this helps
