I've been finding sellers on Fiverr offering $40 dollar gigs. They require buyer to click the order button 8 times...

What's the point of Fiverr if sellers are allowed to charge $40?

Sorry for the rant. I'm not a seller on Fiverr. I go there to buy $5 gigs... not to waste my time shifting through gigs to find true $5 gigs.

What's your opinion as a Fiverr buyer or seller?

That happens all the time. Fiverr is a very popular site for buyer to buy
things for $5. Because it is so popular, people are taking advantages on it.
I saw people put up gigs for $10, $20 and even more. It is just funny that
Fiverr actually picks and chooses seller who they let to violate the TOS.
But well some cases, gigs that costs more than $5 is also very necessary.
For example, I saw a gig offering 20 seconds HD video, but I want to buy a
100+ seconds HD video. So, I have to pay 5 times or more for my needs. I
    think that is fine.

yeah it's disgusting. I was thinking about ordering a $40 gig, pay $5, then post negative when they fail to deliver.

      EDIT:

I'm all for optional 'add-ons' for those who wish to add more/bigger gigs.

I understand some gigs are worth more than $5 and people are working hard to earn so little. The best of using fiverr is to build your brand by offering a handful of $5 gigs to get your name/service out there. After you build clientele, remove your fiverr gig and sell your service at the price that's fair.

Most gigs are worth more than $5 and Fiverr.com allows their best sellers to do this and offer up sells for more money.

You don't have to buy them, so I don't understand the bitching. Just move on and forget it.

Because it clutters up the site and is a waste of time for those looking for what they came to the website for; $5 gigs.

Offering gigs that's not $5 makes about as much sense if folks come to WarriorForum SEO board to post threads about how to rebuild a 350 chevy engine, or how to cook crab on the grill. But I imagine everyone who comes here is here to talk SEO.

They should create another site called fortier for all those who wish to offer $40 gigs.

As I stated in my previous post tht you ignored, I understand many gigs are worth more than $5. The seller has the option to go someplace else to sell... or use fiverr to build their brand or company by offering a handful of $5 gigs.

...And hell yeah I'd bitch if Warriorforum SEO board was overwhelmed with threads how to cook or fix your car!!!! That's not what this site is for. And Fiver is a $5 dollar site, not a $40 site.

this would be a bit of a grey area. money's been made, and it isn't effecting their profit at all. so fiverr of course would let this continue. this is the internet, stuff like this kinda tends not to happen, even though technically, morally, it shouldn't be allowed.
