What do I gain from following lots of my competitors on twitter? When I checked my competitors followers most of them were in the same niche as me and my competitor's.

I run a B2B firm so my target customers are businesses. I would like to mainly promote my business blogs on twitter. Any suggestions and insights will be appreciated.

    You can see how their using twitter to market, and then if you do the exact opposite you'll probably be ahead of the curve.

    It's always a good idea to keep tabs on your competition. You should get on all their mailing lists, even become a customer of their's. Might help you stand out from the crowd.
