Avoid like hell the gigs that offer Classified Ads post for your website backlinks.

While classified ads are very good for backlinks, Fiverr gigs use low quality and low pr websites to post. I mean they do not post to craigslist type ..

Also after those gigs you get TONES of spam, i mean huge ammounts .....

I personally do not purchase any SEO services off fiverr...too many bad experiences long ago, even with top rated sellers/gigs.

That's not to say their are no worthy gigs on there, but I'm not taking my chances.

That is not true, try cooking 1000+ feedbacks. people may do it when they start a gig. but when natural orders start coming in, you can see if the gig is good or not.

How will a classified ad gets you plenty of spam ?

When it comes to SEO gigs, I would be careful, you can easily get in trouble with creating bad backlinks.

The ones that over offer are notoriously bad in my past experience. Doesn't matter articles, backlinks, etc.

Anyone that buys SEO on fiverr is a risk taker, a cowboy, a rebel, an internet marketer engaged in gigs that are glamorous because they show a sense of danger!

My tips to recognize bad gigs:
    1. Massive backlinks in few days
    2. PR9 backlinks - these are from webpage of PR0 that domain's homepage has PR9
    3. Indexing in 1000+ search engines

I repeat: do NOT choose above

I never use fiverr to link directly to my money site as I do not trust someone who offers 1,000000 links for $5 I'm pretty sure they don't care about switching IP's and covering footprints between the 100's of gigs they get....(I know I wouldn't for just $5).

It is great if you find a good gig offering something reasonable like 5 .edu links for $5 and they can guarantee different proxies etc...

I have some good experience with fiverr gigs, however, I must with agree, that fiverr gigs aren't what they used to be. And In, my opinion, its getting harder to identify what is a good gig or not, even if their is a lot of good feed back on that particular gig.

Also when ordering, look for the QUEUE. A long queue means (most of the time) that you will not be serviced well.

From what i have seen so far ..

Or the long queue can mean that it is service in demand and it is popular.

Nope. A queue with 40 orders and a gig saying that it will be delivered in 3-4 days, means NEVER.

Popular Gigs are often PAUSED when there is a lot of demand. Apparently you have no idea how Fiverr works.

This would be the sellers problem, yes, if he can't deliver. i've had had over 300 orders in queue and i've never had 1 late order. And i have over 300 orders now too in queue.

Today i did a check of all the HUBpages and Squido pages i got the last year from Fiverr. It seems that more than 80% have been taken down for some reason.

So for me Fiverr works only for some social bookmarking since i haven't found anything else good.

I suggest that you should look at all the feedbacks a gig received from its customers. If there are lots of negatives out there in his SEO service on Fiverr, don't try it or you will only lose money for a useless gig like that.

Not every SEO service gig on Fiverr is bad. Some of them do offer great value. But you have to look around for the golden nuggets. There is a lot of junk in there, but there are gems, too. Look for lots of good feedback, a lot of completed orders, repeat customers, a long history on Fiverr (preferably a long history of providing that gig, too), and then try it out for yourself to see if you like it. If you do, you've got a gig you can "star" and go back to again and again. If you don't like it, you are only out $5 and don't have to use it again. Keep looking for that gold star gig you'll come back to for your outsourcing again and again. You'll find it. It's there.

I bought a Twitter gig where he would Tweet my link 5 times over 5 days to his 10,000 "internet marketing followers" Did nothing. I didn't even get 1 hit from it. Maybe a little backlink juice, if that, but thats it.

If people had something special and good techniqeus to get great results they wouldnt be selling it for 5$

I use fiverr for video editing, design stuff etc. You can find quite a few bargains in that deppartment.

I bought a bunch of Squidoo Lenses from someone on Fiverr who had amazing feedback. All of the lenses ended up being deleted by Squidoo and he's no longer on Fiverr. I'll make my own lenses from now on.

Even looking at all of the feedbacks doesn't work all the time. But doesn't sound like a good way to get back links as classified links.

I also don't use Fiverr for SEO. You get what you pay for, meaning you can't get real value for just $5.

I do my backlinking myself, all I outsource is the content creation part for my backlinks, but the submission is done all by myself.

I've found several great gigs on Fiverr mostly social bookmarking and on graphics, but I never could get any decent writer there. They never can seem to deliver on time, and I would think the cancellation rate there is high.

Just got a request for cancellation from a writer, waited a few days to tell me too. It's too bad you can't leave feedback when the order is cancelled, so all you see on the seller's profile are good ratings.
