Google - Weird Adwords Results January 2012 IP address location

LIke everyone else, I want to see the competition in a location where I'm doing a PPC Adwords campaign. So I use proxies in my browser, similiar to GeoSurf, just my own proxies. I do a lot of local city campaigns in USA.

In the last few days, my browser will not display any adwords ads for the proxy IP address used in my browser.

BUT it displays everything else including localized organic SERPS for the Dallas proxy IP address!

If anyone is in Dallas TX, I would love to see a screenshot on Google Search for
plastic surgery. Please post if you are in Dallas

Best Regards
Jan Gregory

    Screenshot

    * FireFox browser
    * Proxy tool plugin
    * ISP IP address is in Asia

    + Proxy IP address for Dallas is ON in this screenshot

    Non-Local Search keyword: plastic surgery

    Suggest keywords are for Dallas Area
    Organic SERPS are for Dallas
    Map is for Dallas
    GP listings are for Dallas

    Adwords are all for Asia

    These are same Adwords I see when the Dallas Proxy is turned OFF in the browser. But when proxy OFF there is nothing local about Dallas for same search keyword

    And it does not matter whether signed in to a Google Account or not. Same screenshot either way.

      Anybody know anything about this IP address change for Display of Adwords?

      In this screenshot image... you see browser using a righteous Dallas Proxy and it is showing Location is Dallas TX, and the Dallas Map for keyword search "plastic surgery", and then look at the Adwords ads...

      those Ads are from Philippines, Korea and other Asian advertisers... and my ISP for where I am is in Asia... and I'm seeing Asian Ads with or without the Proxy but everything else changes

      plastic surgery is a non-local keyword

      Signed In or Signed Out of an account makes no differences so it is not Preferences/Cookies

      Best Regards
