Are seasonal keywords worth targeting? will they bring any traffic throughout the year?

For example summer keywords, does this mean that traffic will be zero the rest of the year?

      Yep, Google Insights is a good tool to see how much the "seasonal" keywords are searched for throughout the year.

      I think it depends on the nature of the keyword. If you are targeting a keyword like "black friday deals", you can bet this keyword won't get any traffic throughout the year except for Black Friday.

    Using your example, you will likely get more traffic in the summer.

    In the off season, you could expect to get less traffic, though probably more than zero.
