what is the perfect keyword density for a 1 page article?

In a 500 words (1 page), how many times should a keyword appear? what % is the best and also please provide the count in numbers also. 3 time or 4 time etc..

  • That's a pretty broad question. What I would do is take the average keyword density of the top 10 results for the keyword you're trying to rank for and use that as a general guideline. There is no "perfect" number.

  • I usually aim for between 2-3%, ideally closer to 3%. A lot of folks say keyword density is not that big a factor anymore, but that's what I do.
  • I think it should be 3%-4 % .
  • many search engines have their own criteria to calculate keyword density.uahoo and Msn are OK with 5%.but Google is more strict in all and in case of google it should be 1-2%.
    For example of you have an article on 500 words then you can repeat same keyword 5 times in it to make it 1%
