How To ascertain true adsense CPC

Hi All..
My question relates to adsense, and how to better determine how much money I should get per click from a keyword.. For example in the GKT one of my longtails has a CPC of over $3 ..is this the costs the advertiser can expect to pay..? and if so how can I determine what I am likely to receive.. At the moment I am getting around 0.37c per click.. Or should I just assume a figure of around 12% of the GKT CPC..?

  • Yes, the CPC is what you would pay as an advertiser - per the Google Keyword Tool...

    • I usually average about 60% of the CPC, so I use that figure when choosing my keywords. It varies, of course, but 60% is about my average on most of my sites.
