WordPress Writer Log-in?

I want my writer to be able to make posts on my behalf, but I don't want them to be able to have access to my whole wp-admin section; just the posts/pages sections. Kind of like how BMR lets you create a separate writer login. Is this possible?

Anyone know? Wordpress is so versatile, they should have this.

Just create an Author account for them.

Basically, in your wp-admin area, click on "Users" on the menu on the left, and set up an account for an "Author".

Creating an author account will usually do the trick in these situations, but if you need to make more permission tweaks try one of these plugins:
