After 3 months, my site still isn't indexed!

I've been backlinking, pinging - not every day, been a little lazy about it. But I'm reading a WSO that said to search "site: myurl dot com" and NONE of my pages are there. And when I tried "site: www dot myurl dot com", even less results...

Which then brought up another question. I prefer myurl dot com and not www dot myurl dot com, because I understood it's not supposed to make a difference. But it does bring up different results in google. One is a youtube video of a soccer team (Brazil, I believe). How is it that I got their URL? The video is from 2010 and I bought my domain in 2011.

What possible reason could there be that after backlinking and pinging a 3-month-old site, I got nuthin'?!! So many questions - this internet thing is a lot more complicated than I thought.

I can't post my site URL yet because I don't have 15 posts, so that kind of makes it difficult to get a real answer, I guess?

Thanks in advance,
Nancy

When you use the site operator, you don't use spaces between the colon and the site url. It should look like this: "site:yoursitehere.com" or whatever. Your site should be not only indexed after three months, but that's also enough time to be getting traffic and making some sales. Perhaps you got a "less-than-stellar" WSO that has a lot of gaps in it (leaves out key components, which prevents you from seeing success). I have purchased a number of them like that in the past.

its almost unheard of that sites don't get index within a short time...

sign up for an google analytics/webmaster account and upload your sitemap there.. it should be indexed very quickly

So I tried that with www, and here's what came up (I copied and pasted the google result but had to remove my actual site URL):
Your search - site:www dot myurl dot com - did not match any documents.

Then I tried it without the www, i.e. site:myurl dot com and it FINALLY came up with my pages. What a relief!

However, there's that one last question - I thought that www vs non-www wasn't supposed to make a difference? And apparent it is.

    Thanks for your response!

Did you submit your sitemap.xml to Google Webmastertool? It may help you to get ping faster and get crawl over by Google.

Try do backlink on those high index website which would help you when google crawl their site.

Do check is your domain been banned?
