Does anyone know any other sites like SocialMonkee which can provide you with some free backlinks relatively easily?

I use the free version of SocialMonkee which provides 25 links a day, which are great as tier 2 links to web 2.0 properties, article sites etc

I've only been using SocialMonkee for a couple of weeks so I'm not sure how useful it can be in improving your ranking....

There is Backlinkskingdom, which is made from the same people who created Socialmonkee. That submits to article directories, upto 15 links a day as a free member or 50 links a day as a Knight if I remember correct.

I use one of the paid tiers of SocialAdr, but there is also a free one. I use IM Automator, too, which is currently free, but they just sent out an email yesterday saying they're going to start charging $2.99 a month for it. I'll probably continue to use it anyway, because it is still a good value for that price. I love SocialAdr. It rocks.

        Hi Lucy,

Have you had any sites banned or de-indexed by google for not
being relevant with any of the two tools.

I noticed that Socialadr is promoted on hundreds of different accounts,
at a natural pace do think this would keep google from penalizing us
        better than IM Automator.
