I am telling you to change the file names, since you are having a heart attack over the file names

nobody really knows 100 percent what google thinks about anything, we can only speculate based on feedback we see from webmasters posted over the years

I always name my image filenames with the keywords I am targeting as well as in the alt tag and image description and sometimes the caption if I want a caption. I think it helps and they appear in google images for the keywords.

If all the images are castrol motor oil then I don't see any problem with that. If your images are not castrol motor oil then it could be viewed as trying to manipulate your ranking by repetitive use of keywords. But then I can also be wrong.

Im not 100% sure alt image tags are considered keyword stuffing.

It's not keyword stuffing if that's what the picture/image is.

It's how google tells you to name things. If you have an
image that graphically spells out NAVIGATION MENU, you
actually should call it menu or something. To call the
navigation button something that it's not, like student
loan consolidation, is not a good practice.

This is not in reference to your header image. I always
call that image what the page title is, and use alt text.

But I would never name lines, bullets, buttons, spacers, etc.
with a keyword. It may not be keyword stuffing if it's done
sparingly, but you sure make it hard on search engines and
visitors to get a grasp as to what an image is or means.

      who is Kim Kardashian?

now that I've stopped bots from crawling the site, can I remove the robots.txt file and let them crawl and index it again?

hmmm, interesting - google HAS indexed the site, although there is a disallowing command in robots.txt... strange
