You want to know my opinion? Google changed the game. It happened to my websites as well. 3 weeks it was on the first page and then slap down to the low pages.

I think what now matters is the quality, updates and social exposer. I checked you website and there is no blog. It means that you don't update your website. That's a mistake. If you want to prove Google that your site has quality, you need to create a blog where you will publish quality relevant content at least once a week. This way Google will be sure that the website is live and not a 5 year website without a change that even don't have up to date content.

Also what plays a big role is social media. I would need to work hard to get it up and keep it there. Hope it helps

Here are some reason why this happens:

Do you have any duplicant content?
      Is this a new site?
Have you built to many backlinks to your home page?

There are many reasons, google seems to rank aged domains after the Google panda update.

      hope that helps.

I would have to agree...I think Freshness happened...

On a side note: I really like the concept you are promoting with your site...

Getting a smoking hot body from drinking beer is a program I am definitely interested in

This is the closest I have ever come to buying a product from a squeeze page.

I sort of agree with what you say but I have one site that has been happily sitting at #2 on Google for at least a year and I haven't touched it, maybe once or twice in that time and that includes on site and off site and a rough idea of competition is that the exact match global searches is 8000.

Every now and then and I mean maybe once every 3 months it might drop to #3 but I do something that brings it back up to #2 again, or it might be that the competition stopped getting links I don't know, but what I do still doesn't involve me adding content or backlinks. It's very strange.

This is why things can be confusing because all the time you hear most people say you should add quality content every week or every other day or whenever but I don't believe this 100% as it's easy to find other examples, like sniper sites or small amazon review sites.

A lot of these never get updated with new content but they still stick in the same position for months. I can't say years because I haven't delved that deep but I know one competitor who's been sitting at #1 for at least 6 months and as far as I can tell his site hasn't changed and only has 8 product reviews posts on it from back then until now at least.

I would not worry about it just yet.

I made an almost identical post as mine disapered from the first 1000 and just came back a day later stronger then ever.

Its seems Google are making a few tweaks on the fly at the moment.

OK, without any additional information this is the only comment I can make:

Google may view your site as a doorway page, i.e., thin affiliate site. Add a few more pages of content and see how your SERPs change. It is a nice looking site by the way :-)

Is this an old site? If so, the drop may be a result of Query Deserves Freshness post-honeymoon rank adjustment.

You're site is most likely dancing. Just keep building quality, unique, relevant content and naturally building your backlinks and you should see it come back up.

No need to hit the panic button just yet!

Keep building quality backlinks to it and update it frequently with new posts.

It should be back in its position or even stronger than ever before

The same thing happened to my site. I was ranked number 9 in Google back in December and my site has disappeared since then. I still continue to build links and post fresh content so I hope my site will come back in a better position.

Yep very common indeed. There are posts like this every week on the forum, but don't worry, I also got freaked out the first time it happened to me

      Hi RUSHYYZ,

Congratulations, you are this weeks winner of the well known "WTF is QDF" post contest. Your prize, should you choose to accept it, is the knowledge that Google will give a temporary boost to fresh content, and as that content ages, the freshness factor dissipates allowing your page to sink to it's currently earned position.

This is a common occurrence, nothing is wrong, you have not been penalized, it isn't the Google Dance and you don't need to fix your website. You received a free temporary boost. Now you most go out and earn the higher rankings you seek by implementing a solid promotional campaign.
