The Main Keyword Not Showing up at All on the Google SERP

I have a new domain, registered just a couple of weeks ago. It has not many backlinks yet.
Now, the main keyword (which is in the domain name, in the title, in h1 etc) puts it on the page no 6 on Bing and page no 13 on Yahoo. But, with Google it is nowhere to be found. I checked all of the 70 pages, it's not even on the last SERP! And, the page is indexed by Google also, as it comes up in SERP with some other text strings from the page. Why on earth does it not show up with the main keyword?!

    Hi,

Assuming that your page is properly optimized for the keyword, you should start building backlinks. In most cases it's not enough to simply have an optimized page and I'm sure that your rankings will move up if you begin building links the right way.

A trick I've been using to get a boost from Google is to add one of their customized search bars at the bottom of my sites. Every time I have done this Google has rewarded me. I confess that I have only tried this where my keyword has been ranked already which is different than your scenario but I believe it can only help your situation.

    Good luck
