    If you're looking for the best instead of the fastest, I'd select article marketing.

      These methods are definitely the most reliable for generating quick traffic to a website. Sure it is not the absolute fastest available, but if you weigh the benefits against the speed, it certainly cannot be beat!

    Most people will recommend FB page traffic. Yes, it is good source but much "stable" one is your own made SEO. SEO is pretty hard to master but when you do it, you can live from it (of course if you're good with it).

      Without a doubt it has to be PPC. I mean if you wanted you could go from nothing to floods of traffic in a couple of minutes. It would of course cost you money, but that for me is the quickest method of traffic.

    My free fastest traffic method has been Craigslist. Took awhile to master and had to find the right thing to promote, but if I'm in a pinch for cash, it works great.
    For a pay method I use Solo Ads.

    Heck if you have a brand new site up and running and need traffic in about 3 mins, google adwords or some others major ppc engines is the go, or other pay per click sites.

    Not only is it quick traffic, but its going to be highly targeted traffic, so you shouldn't mind paying for the speed of this.

    Of course there are other ways, but PPC would have to be one of the fastest in my book.

    Depending on what you're into. There is no BEST way for everything, but there are many good ways.
    A good way is PPC.
    In whatever way you get traffic, the best thing you can do to keep it is to build a list.

    Some newbs get into this industry and think it's all about SEO. Many put all their eggs in one basket and only focuses on SEO.

    If you do your youtube research correct then you can start getting traffic from a video in literally a matter of minutes.

Create pages , groups with your product names and invite people to join your pages. Interact with them and you can get Good traffic with this.     I still say that the fastest form of traffic for me is with video marketing. Youtube has millions of visitors everyday and it is so easy to funnel them to any site you want.

    For SEO It mostly link building with articles.
    For PPC I stay away from Facebook and stick to Google, Yahoo and Bing. I do not bid on the top spots. I'm fine with position 4-8 or even lower on PPC.

    My theory with PPC is your list building improves when you get the clicks on page 2. The website visitor did not find what they needed in page 1. You can avoid the "false clicks". And I think you get quality traffic from people who hit page 2 and are still searching for that solution to whatever it is they are looking for,

      Interesting points you make here. Did you mean to use the word "theory" or have you tested something like this? I have had some good results with very low bids for keywords but I have never actually thought it could be an advantage. It makes me want to experiment a little with this idea.

    I would do controlled experiments with all adverts and see which one works best.

      fastest traffic hands down is solo ads. its unbeatable. if u understand how to do it properly, u can generate 1000 leads in a single day. i don't know any other lead source that will allow you to do that.

      ppc is great too, but that takes time to build up. if u wanna generate 1000 leads in a day with ppc, u'll need to be building your campaigns for months.

      seo is the slowest. by far! but its also super targeted and qualified.

    The fastest method of traffic by far is Twitter. You can even watch the traffic coming in. Track the link you send out and you'll see how many hits it gets.

    But for quality traffic (& also pretty fast) I'd choose ezine advertising over all else.

      So spend time on quality. Far too many times you see people in here say write gazillion articles and spin them Holy Mother Of Mary!!!!

      Hi,

      I've tried many different types of traffic generation techniques. I have had success and failure so I talk from experience.

      My initial thought was that Pay Per Click is that fastest form of traffic but in actual fact you could be even faster using forums. They should both show results in one day, if done correctly.

      Quality of traffic is essential and always, always, always check that there really is traffic out there looking for what you are offering.
