Any inherent value to an exact match domain with 75,000 monthly searches?

I have 2 domain names purchased from when I first started IM that are about to expire. I never did anything with them because I started going more in a direction of promoting affiliate products.

I've never touched Adsense or anything of the sort so I don't know much at all about it. I consider myself pretty good with affiliate sales but have absolutely no clue about Adsense or PPC.

Domain 1: 75,000~ monthly searches, .org EDM with ~$0.13 CPC
Domain 2: 60,000~ monthly searches, .org EDM with ~$1.00 CPC

SEO competition isn't great. The people ranking for these keywords aren't exactly targeting them and certainly haven't done any SEO of their own.

I can't really give much more info than that because I don't like exposing my websites/niches publicly. I wouldn't really say that these are keywords with buyer's intent, so not really suited for promoting products (as far as I would guess) which is the main reason I didn't do much with them.

I know that's not a lot to go on, but I was just wondering if anyone had any opinion in general if these two domains might be worth anything based on those stats as far as Adsense goes.

Are you getting the CPC data from the Google Adwords Keyword Tool? If so, login with your Google account and re-check that with the Contextual Targeting Tool. I've noticed low CPC figures via Adwords, yet when I check with the Contextual Targeting Tool, they are much higher. Sometimes it's vice versa.

If you see buyer intent and advertisers for those keywords and a little competition (a little competition isn't necessarily a bad thing), I would say give it a shot. Just pay attention to those top 10 websites for each keyword to see what the competition strength is. Nothing is worse than assessing competition incorrectly and coming up short after putting in a ton of work.

If the main keyword gets 75,000 searches, it's highly likely you can find an additional 20-50 related keywords that can add up to 75,000 searches or even twice that. At the end, you end up with a site that targets 100,000+ searches per month.

That's how you build successful, long-term, stable adsense sites. Don't just target one keyword.

If you're planning on selling the domains, I wouldnt pay more than $50 depending on what they are. Exact Match Domains don't have as much weight as they used to.

Just to be sure, are these 75k exact match searches? Those are not easy to find, especially with low competition.
