Well since this month, I see CPC drop for my tech blogs! I was used to earn around $0.35/click but since month starts it drops to $0.15/click! I can't see any reason as my overall traffic as well as organic traffic increase by at least 30%!

Is their anyone also facing same issue or am I alone?

  • I was getting £0.24 per click on one of my electronic review sites and since last week its £0.10 - £0.12 per click. Thought it was just me, I wouldn't say its google changing anything however could be coincidental
  • Well I read Google forum and some experts provide excuse that it's year end budget completed in Dec and they often faced such a issue in new year start and publisher recover CPC from Feb.

I wish it will goes normal as with such a low CPC we almost lost 50% earnings!

    • January is always a tough month for adsense...should pick up in Feb.

  • Thanks for your feedback as I was really worried about it and I had no idea what's went wrong without traffic drop and other things! Let's hope for best!
  • Well after the whole holiday frenzy it seems natural that people don't buy as much in January. And companies know this so they don't advertise as much. Diversify to different niches that have their ups and downs at other times in the year, then you have a more stable average.

    • Yes I also did with new niche and it's seems new niche working good although I'm below $3/day on new site but yes CPC is around $0.55! I wish Tech Advertiser will spend some more money from next month. :p
  • My CPC is terrible too. January maybe a tough month for Adsense but brutal for Amazon Associates. Can't wait for February.
  • Strange. This has been by far the best month for me. Average CPC has gone up from £0.28 to £0.47 (health niches). We're talking thousands of clicks here.

    • Hello! Health related ads are big in January! All the New Years resolutions people make and break. Just check out all the diet and fitness ads on TV. But most niches are going to be down this month.

    • Well it's niche which always provide good results in any network and I personally feel same thing as I started new blog back in last week of December and I already getting $0.55 CPC with impressive 2.3% CTR.
  • My earnings have pretty much been on point from last month (maybe just a smidge lower than December). The consistency is there, which is always a good thing to see as I continue to build and work on new websites.
  • I removed all ads and replaced them with one 300 width ad and am very happy with the results!
  • I also noticed the same issues. I thing its the time of the year when this usually happens.
  • I guess after Google changes and many blocked account, we all seen that coming
  • I have noticed a drop as well. My average last month (and for many months before that) was around $0.90 to a $1 per click, but now (for the past few weeks) its down to about $0.60-$0.70 per click.

Hopefully it gets better in FEB for everyone.
  • Ive had a couple of my biggest days ever in adsense earnings this month.
  • Drop from 90c per click to 05c per click last few months
  • It is pretty much the same at the moment with the people i have spoke too. The cpc seems to be down on last month and it nearly always i find goes down towards the end of the month. See how it is next month i ams ure it will pick up.
