Article Marketing Robot Best Practices... need some help guys

I bought, and have been using AMR for a while now... and I looked at some vids and read the site's info on some best practices.

I followed them precisely...

- I use an email address from my site (ie articles@mysite.com)
- I complete all the fields in the account creation (including phone and fax)
- I use both deathbycapcha and decapcher (are they still in business?)
- I spin THE HELL out of my articles
- I use short and sweet summaries
- My articles are all over 400 words
- my resource boxes are solid, and I sometimes only use 1 link

I mean I was really doing EVERYTHING to make this thing work because its a great piece of software.

When I first started using AMR I would register at about 1500 of the 2800 or so directories... which is great, and I would submit my articles to the directories, but would only actually submit to about 500 successfully with about 300 "auto-accepted".

To me that was OK, but of course I wished it were better... but for 300 LiveLinks I wasn't going to complain.

Over the last 6 months or so I've been using it, and my results have been TERRIBLE. Of the many directories that are in the software I'd only register to about 600 or so, and when I submit my articles I'd only successfully submit to about 130, and maybe 60 LiveLinks... which to me is ridiculous.

I settled for the 300 when I first started, but 60 (sometimes less) won't do it for me.

So I ask... to all my fellow-Warriors that are using AMR, and are having success... please share your wisdom. I'm using 1.1.0.6, and I am using private proxies as well, so I'm not having problems with my IP getting banned.

I know there's a 1.1.0.7 on the horizon, but if anybody could help me now I'd greatly appreciate it. The AMR forum is filled with people that share my issues, but have no real solution.

Thanks in advance.

I have downgraded mine to 1.1.0.5 ... It's better than 0.6... But ppl say 0.4 was the best one....

There are many dirs closing/limiting submissions

I would say 500 successful submissions is a good number, that's what I get nowadays

I was using 5, and I was getting the same results. I contacted Support because I could no longer open it, and he pointed me to 6. 6 lets me in but with the same results. I created a new dbase and new accounts and everything... just frustrating.

I would say try searching google for "amr list" and get some new directories into the software. Warrior forum even has a list here: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...s-3500-ok.html to get you started. A lot of the built in ones are dead.

Thanks for the list... I'm signing up now and I'll report back with my results.

Also, its best to submit first with no signature, and links inside your article, then again with a signature and no links in your article, since directories have different rules about the two

Hi droopy, I just recently got a copy of it AMR of course it's v 1.1.0.6 - Anyways I was having terrible results with it approving so few articles and crashing all the time. I just recently went and scoured the web for about a good 20,000 new directories. Still working with it, but one website had 6000+ and I have had about 132 from the 1000 + directories that AMR imported.

My other question was if you have had success with ranking any of your high competition websites with AMR?

Let me know thanks. If you need some new directories to try I can give you the links for the ones I found.

      Hi,

I don't really know if AMR is helping my sites rank because I use so many other linking practices such as profile links, blog commenting, social bookmarks, video submissions, forum sigs... I mean ARM links are only a small art of my strategy, so I'm not really sure.

I recently tried again with AMR. I found a list of 25k, and I also found another list of 15k. I imported them all into the "default" list, and once I was done signing up and submitting I was only submitting to 500 or so directories (out of 44,000 that I started with). Only 120 or so articles were auto-approved (Livelinks).

I can export that list and post it here if that will help anyone, but it may be redundant directories.

I agree it may be redundant to post anything here. I assume most people probably have a good list for themselves. The only way I guess to know if just AMR helps would be to only use that, but in my experience without Social Bookmarking, forum links, profiles, Web 2.0, interlinking with your authority sites and all the other methods I don't think you would rank. I don't think any one strategy would work without the others.

Thinking logically however, even 100 auto approve articles a day with a couple links should be creating a lot of contextual backlinks. Moreover if you wrote several unique articles each day that would obviously multiply. I wonder how much weight Google puts on these links?
