Baclinking Your Backlinks Blog Questions

Ok I already know its good to backlink your backlinks. basially take your Tier 2, Tier 3 etc and link those.

To the more seasoned seo players here is my question.

Lets say you get blog comments done from PR1 and higher. Some of them have high OBL and some are low (20-30)

Do you spend the time to backlink those blog comments? What I mean by that is do you ping them? Run them thrgh NLI or Backlink Indexer? Do you build bookmarks or profiles to them?

Since the blogs themselves are already indexed how often will Google come back to that site to see new comments and help push the juice?

Im speaking only about blog comments here.

Thank you

Manually created comments on DoFollow blogs I'll usually leave alone. Especially if they're PR1 or higher. I don't really want to mess with a good thing, and Google will find it soon enough.

I'll usually save "backlinking my backlinks" for web 2.0 sites, videos, articles, etc.

      Then you should visit backlinksindexer.

I agree with JS Projects. Blog comments with PR tend to get indexed on their own. Adding backlinks can add a TINY bit of link juice. Especially considering the high OBL's to other pages. You'd be better off pumping link juice to other pages that are less likely to get indexed and have a smaller amount of OBL.

Practically, building backlinks to blog comments can also be a good option to add even just a little juice. The reality still remains that you will surely find a hard time getting a blog having no nofollow attribute with low OBL.

So if you have an opportunity to strengthen a particular link, take it. Because sometimes you have to spend money for them. Though baclinking blog comments or not is not a big issue when it comes to indexing specially if it has good PR.

  • Honestly, I don't bother with that myself. I use a great backlinking service that makes sure all my links are indexed, so they do all this for me.

Alternatively, if you've got Scrapebox, you can use the RSS ping feature to help index your backlinks. loopline put together a pretty good video on how to do this. It's a feature that not many people use but it works well.

My opinion is that building backlinks to comments is a huge waste of time. Better off to do some sort of RSS syndication fro posts based on keywords and tags...time better spent.

I wouldn't waste much time on backlink building to comments, but pinging them takes a few seconds and it doesn't hurt. spend your time creating more backlinks, you''ll be fine.

This is pretty much how I look at it. If you're leaving comments on quality blogs then there's no real need to do much else. Your time is better spent building additional backlinks.
