Hey all.

I love SEO, but I'm looking to expand myself and look for other ways to bring traffic to a site, let's say if the search engines are not bringing enough.

Any suggestions? Adwords, facebook ads maybe...? What others?

    Start right here...

Place a link in your signature, then remain active on this forum. You might even learn something new along the way.

    FalconPunch,

Grab a subscription to OnlyWire, Traffic Geyser or SYNND. There is way more server melting traffic out there then just Google. You want your message to get out to as many online properties (where people hang out) as possible.

And don't just do this once. Distribute your content each week. This will grow your online visibility and traffic.

Take it from me. I redesigned Traffic Geysers new submission platform.

    Kind regards,

    Kevin

Be creative... There are many ways of doing marketing online. Back around 2001-2002 I didn't know anything about SEO. I ran a music message board, it was a vbulletin and had to be creative on how to get people there. I brought in over 15,000 members through various marketing techniques, all which were free. Where is your audience? Go to them, get them there.

It's been mentioned above but is worth repeating, Press Releases (that have been properly SEO'ed) can drive a ton of targeted traffic to your web site, and great back links to boot.
