The only reason you got a pr2 in 15 days was just that G decided to update pr about 15 days after you set up a site. If you did a new site now then you would be waiting for about 3 months for it t update. All it takes is a few high PR links and you will have a good PR site, no secrets here.

Sadly to say, high PR will not get you to page 1 and #1 position! I have a site which rank #2 on page 1 of Google for almost 3 months with PR 0, and the recent PR update bumped the site up to PR5, but this caused the site to drop to page 2 position #16. Any one can explain why this is happen?

I don't understand why everyone cares so much about PR. It isn't that important.

Getting relevant high PR backlinks, yeah that matters. Other than that it's kind of pointless. You can't get another PR update for a while anyway. It might take you a couple more months or more before PR updates again, but anyway, it still doesn't matter LOL. Even my profile on here has a PR1.

A simple guide without intuition, i believe it require lots of backlinking and good strategies to do it.

If want to get high pagerank for the site then one need to provide unique and useful content to visitors with the appropriate keywords and title through which your content be found by people. And try to get quality backlinks and more traffic to the site from the high authorised sites. And make use of social media more to get more traffic to the site and to get more user engagement.

Getting link from high pr web 2.0 (as blogger) is work for me ,
my site has Pr2 in 3 week

I think its like Credit or a bank loan, "If you need it you cant get it"
If you don't need it, its because you have financial resources to advertise on TV radio or online networks, so you do not need or even care about PR.

PR is almost meaningless, the other day I saw a website, with a PR4 it was designed using an old version of a microsoft program that was popular back in 1998 it had four pages, of content that had not been updated in five years.

It was not on an authority site, it had no backlinks, it was a junk site, PR is a product of yesterday, I don't even bother looking at PR anymore, I look at my server logs, that tells me all I need to know about the kind of traffic I see and how many search engines are indexing my content.

I have one PR 1 site that gets 2 million unique per month, I make more money from that one website than I do any of the websites that have higher PR ranking, why is that? Simple answer, that website is a competitive, niche, where corporate advertisers pay millions out every year in advertising.

They get all the PR they want and more, its a faulty bogus system designed to reward those people that pay out the big bucks, to the small people out there, ordinary folks, like us, PR is like buying counterfeit, money, not going to do you any good at all.

I get more organic traffic, by ignoring the PR, and concentrating on research and unique content, over time I have found that there is little or no real correlation to any real or imagined value to how PR is assigned, modified, and or even accurate, its like an old accounting system that no longer really works anymore but they keep it around to play with because people still think its real.

PR does not affect ranking a lot.

UMS set it straight, content really has nothing to do with PR, pr is all about the quality of links pointing at your website. The more quality links, the better.

Also, the onyl reason you got a pr2 in `15 days is because the toolbar happened to update at that time. The toolbar only updates 1-2 times per year these days, so you n eed to be aware of that.

The tool bar might say 0 pr, but in reality you might have 3 or 4.
