Link your site to high PR sites. It's already proven a big help to support your site's PR. There are lots of lists on the web posting high PR sites. Might you can save from doing it manually rather than hiring one. IMO only.

The only way to boost your PR (and I'm talking about the PR you see via SEO quake or other tools) is to link to your site from a site with higher PR, the links must also be Dofollow and the link must be on the PAGE that has a high PR, if the main domain has high PR but the actual page you link from has low PR it won't help.

The amount of outbound links on the site that you link from also effect the PR, a few outbound link is better has the link will have more value.

A good way i use is to find websites with high PR on the main domain and opened comments for new articles/posts ONLY.

Those articles/posts have N/A-0 PR and people don't find them attractive enough for commenting, however a few months later when Google updates the PR their PR gets boost up (usually to 1 PR below the PR of the main domain).

And by then, when they look attractive for commenting - the comments are already closed.

And so you get high PR backlink with a few outbound links and if you can make it from a niche related article/site it will also help your rankings.

True, it's a longer term investment as it takes a few months to see results, but then again so does most things in this business.

PR is old news. There's a reason why Google lets you see what it is. Trust ranking, the quality of incoming links and those sites are more important. Even more so is Social media marketing. Links should be coming from in from multiple sources, not just PR links.

get some links from high pr pages with low obl. I would say the most likely way you have of getting these links is to buy them. If your site was of a high quality and very useful to a certain niche you could perhaps get quality links naturally or by approaching relevant websites and informing them of your site.
