Can you list free alternatives of Yahoo Site Explorer? I have tried some, but none of them was half as good as yahoo one

MajesticSEO and OpenSiteExplorer. Although they're paid, they also have free subscriptions and trials.

MajesticSEO is very good indeed! OP, try that one.

Which ones have you already tried? Have you tried SEO Spyglass? It is the best alternative to YSE, I think.

I've tried majestic SEO and Opensite explorer. But I want to know about completely free tools...Ahref is one good alternative, but as pbbiet said, it is not always accurate. going to try SEO spyglass, but isn't it paid?

I have used MajesticSEO in the past, although I have my own tools now, but I would recommend that to anyone that doesn't want to have their own developed.

SEO Spyglass does a good job and in my personal opinion it is better than Yahoo site explorer.

I'm a fan of Open site Explorer and using Blekko with its backslash commands.

    Hi there,

Yeah I use majestic seo, seo spyglass, but I have recently been using Blekko, but doesn't always show as many backlinks as SEO Spyglass, but might be that not all backlinks shown in SEO Spyglass are still indexed in Google. So I would suggest a mixture of Majestic SEO and Blekko.

To use Blekko.com - you first need to create an account username/password. Then search for website or keyword in search bar and then click on "seo" link underneath search listing results. You can spy on competition backlinks or get new backlink ideas/sources from high ranked sites. Very powerful Yahoo Site explorer alternative.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Chris

Out of them all, Majestic SEO is the best right now. But to get full and proper reports, you have to pay, so technically, it's not really free if you want to get anywhere near the information that YSE used to give.
