      page 3 - 10%
      page 4 - 10%

      after that its a split.

      these are for specific searches I have found.

    Yes, I would agree with Ideaz117 as regards the CPC - you should definitely go for at least $1 per CPC.

    If the competetion is low, and you feel that it would be easy to rank in the top 3, you could look at local searches of 1500 or more. Obviously, the more local searches there are, the better but, as i said, if you think you could get to to the top, you could go for one around 1500. I just look at the local searches and don't really bother with the global searches.

    I'm not sure what percentage of the traffic the first 5 ranks get, but I can tell you it's most of it!. Actually the top 3 take most of the traffic, with the rest getting the crumbs. And, of course, the number 1 spot is the gold mine - that is definitely where you want to get to. There is even quite a difference between number 1 spot and number 2, so it is important to get a niche where you can get into the top 3 at least.
