Suppose I have the domain howto.com and want to rank for "how to ride a bike".

What should I do regarding URL and title?:

- howto.com/ride-a-bike
- howto.com/ride-bike
- howto.com/how-to-ride-a-bike
- howto.com/how-to-ride-bike
- with www?

- How to Ride a Bike
- HOW TO RIDE A BIKE
- How to Ride a Bike - HowTo.com

What's the best options?

    Personally i would go for:

    howto.com/how-to-ride-a-bike

How To Ride a Bike - Some Other Text Here

I'v never had any issues with ranking sites using the above.

I was going to type this in EXACTLY, and then read your post. That would be the most optimized url.

The "Some other text here" in the title is optional, but would help you avoid over-optimizing for your keyword.

I usually like to use some kind of call to action in the "Some other text here"

Simpy adding... Click Here or Check it Out, really helps improve CTR from Google organic listings.
