I have unintentionally figured out a way to raise page rank fast even from a new domain.

I decided to launch a product, so I bought a domain and instead of outsourcing to have a sales page written I sat down, away from the computer, with pen and paper and quickly wrote up a salesletter from scratch.

I used the salesletter on my salespage and of course it was original content.

I never continued with the product launch neither did I drive traffic to the site but instead I just forgot about it.

4 weeks later I remembered that I had bought the domain and decided to check my page rank. Its pagerank had shot up from 0 to 2.

I then checked my backlinks to see if that had any contribution towards a pagerank of 2. It did not because my domain has 0 backlinks.

Now I realize that pagerank increases automatically with just 100% original content.

It also goes to show that no seo whatsoever is needed to raise pagerank because my site has no metatags.

Just a cheap domain and original content can give a high pagerank.
